What We Do

Mentorship

Program administered by postdoc, graduate, and undergraduate members of Physics EDI Undergraduate Recruiting Working Group, PSPS, and TiCuP.

Goals:

  • Deliver a personalized, long-term, and natural support system to undergraduates
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive Physics department, ultimately leading to greater departmental representation by traditionally underrepresented groups.

JP Symposium

Every spring we organize a Junior Paper Symposium to give juniors a chance to present their research from the Fall in quick talks.

Goals:

  • For presenters, this is a great opportunity to practice talking about their research and get feedback from graduate students.
  • For underclassmen, this is an opportunity to learn about Junior Papers and start thinking about what they might want to work on.

Study Breaks

We host monthly study breaks with tasty treats!

Past study breaks have had snacks from Kung Fu Tea, Jules Pizza, Terhune Orchard, Mamoun’s, and more.

Study and Support

Come study/vibe with us! There’s always someone from the TiCuP board present in case there’s something you want to discuss/ask advice about (course selection, something you’re struggling with, etc.)

Study & Support sessions are now being held every Sunday at 7:30 pm in the Gravity Initiative Lounge (Jadwin 4th Floor)
