Meet the Board!

Deniz Erdag (’25)

Position: Co-President

Major: Physics (Cosmology & Particle Physics)

Deniz is a physics major interested in particle physics in a cosmological context. She has worked on dark matter detection, atomic physics, and some computational cosmology. She is involved with TiCUP, EDI, and mentorship in the physics department. Outside of physics she loves shooting archery and dancing Latin ballroom

Hyaline Chen (’25)

Position: Co-President

Major:

Gayoung Choi (’27)

Position: Secretary

Major: Physics

Gayoung is a frosh studying physics. Born and raised in Korea, she has now found her second home in Jadwin Hall. She is particularly fascinated by biophysics but is always eager to explore different fields of physics. If you have any interest in physics, she would be happy to chat with you!

Greta Li (’26)

Position: Treasurer

Major: Physics (Plasma)

Hi, I’m Greta! I’m currently a sophomore planning on majoring in physics, and I do research in plasma physics. Outside of the prison that is the Jadwin-Fine Hall complex, I play violin in Sinfonia and volunteer at the food pantry Arm-in-Arm. Please come say hi!

Deniz Sezgin (’26)

Position:

Major: Biophysics

Sophia Huellstrunk (’25)

Position: Outreach/Activism Chair

Major: Math

Daryna Yushchenko (’26)

Position: Social Media Chair

Major: Physics (Cosmology)

Daryna is a sophomore in the physics department. She was born in Ukraine and raised in northern New Jersey. She’s interested in experimental cosmology (specifically CMB and gravitational wave research) though has been bitten by the theory bug this year. If she’s not in Jadwin Hall she’s probably outside climbing or hiking, reading, or spending time with her little sister. She also really love cows. And coffee.

Monica Sing (’27)

Position: Design Chair

Major: Math

I’m Monica, a first year prospective math major from Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I love math that I can visualize, even in an abstract sense, hence why I am also into mathematical physics. Coming from a country and background where not many people have the opportunity to pursue science and math, I am very passionate about STEM education and outreach.

Liam Wang (’26)

Position: TiCuP-PSPS Diversity Liaison

Major: COS (with a strong interest in Astrophysics)

Liam Wang, the TiCuP-PSPS Diversity Liaison, is a sophomore studying Computer Science whose heart lives in Jadwin and Peyton. He has a particular interest in astrophysics research, especially anything relating to galaxies and stars, and data analysis. Outside of academics, you’ll often find him performing in theater, playing D&D, or generally lurking around Peyton and Jadwin Hall.
